As you all know, I constantly strive to keep you up to date on new trends, hacks, and groundbreaking tech updates in the food and dining industry. A new mobile feature I recently discovered, #cube, is an awesome tool for sharing knowledge and for learning new tips and tricks.
#cube is an innovative way to connect and interact with users that share similar interests. The newly launched mobile social application allows users to hone in on particular subjects and share expertise, ask questions, seek answers, and much more.
For all you die-hard food buffs, #cube is an excellent way to stay connected with other foodies in the area. I created an account and was able to poll my followers on food related topics (which was great for the BFJ particularly), review recipes shared by others, and also share personal knowledge of some of my favorite spots in the city.
With #cube, users create hashtags that relate to their shared content (for example, my most used hashtags are #food, #foodblogger, and #blogger). Those who view my content can rate me based upon each hashtag. The rating system is an excellent way to not only showcase expertise in particular areas of interest, but also a great way to build and foster brands and products.
